Hey guys, a talented artist named Bracey100 is in serious need of financial aid after a series of truly awful events that have befallen him over the course of this damn pandemic. If you are in need of commission artwork, he's open for business and his prices are very cheap, you can learn all the details in the last link I posted in this journal. The first three links before Bracey's journal post are to some past commission work he did for me to give you an idea of just how damn good he is :D
After several weeks of resisting the urge to subscribe to HBO Max and dodging spoilers as if my life depended on it, I FINALLY saw Godzilla vs Kong in theaters the other day (via a private screening with family & friends), and I'm happy to report it was WORTH THE WAIT! Godzilla vs Kong is unapologetically batshit insane and I loved every second of it. Its simple but FUN, which is exactly what we all need these days, FUN, and nothing is more fun than watching a giant nuclear powered dinosaur duke it out with enormous axe wielding ape, amongst other things. I'm late to the party compared to most of the kaiju fandom at this point, but if you haven't seen it already, do yourself a favor and go see the rematch of the millennium for yourself, as someone who's been waiting for this since he was five years old, I left the theater feeling VERY satisfied. I'd like to do a more in depth review for Godzilla vs Kong sometime soon, but that will all depend on what my free time will allow, so we'll see what happens. Until then, peace :D
Hi guys, I'm sure many of you may already be aware of this, but there's a kickstarter campaign who's goal is to republish the classic "Gorgo Attacks" comics from the 60s in one convenient package, and while its VERY close to hitting its funding goal, there's only four days left before the deadline is reached, so if you want to see Gorgo and his mom Ogra go toe to toe with mankind and monsters alike in comic book format, please do pitch in to help make this comic omnibus a reality! Follow the link posted below if you're interested :D
They say good things come to those who wait, and I'd say this trailer was well worth the wait, and we only have to wait until March 26th for the film itself to finally be released!..Nope, can't wait that long "jumps in the Futuran Mothership and fast forwards to March" XD
Happy New Year everyone, may 2021 be kinder to us all than 2020 was!
